When the ice maker is making ice, the refrigerant is compressed into a high-pressure gas by the compressor and enters the condenser. The condenser is condensed into liquid and flows into the evaporator after being throttled by the expansion valve. After the evaporator absorbs the heat of the water, it becomes a low-temperature and low-pressure gas, which is then absorbed and compressed by the compressor, and the suction pressure is gradually reduced with the formation of ice. During ice harvesting, the hot refrigerant vapor compressed by the compressor flows into the evaporator through the hot gas valve to heat the ice until the ice is separated from the evaporator and slips into the ice storage chamber to ensure proper heat exchange and prevent refrigerant liquid shock The compressor hot gas valve must be manufactured according to a certain size. The ice harvesting process is shown in the picture. 2. In the ice making process, the machine power switch is set to 'Ice making'. At this time, the controller's cabinet switch 'CURTAIN' indicator is on. First, the water pump and the drain solenoid valve are energized for 45 seconds (the drain time is set to 45 seconds) to drain the water tank In order to ensure that the ice making water is fresh and clean, the hot air valve is also energized during the draining period. After 45 seconds, the compressor starts and the condensing fan is started (the condensing fan and the compressor use the same contactor to control the main circuit of the condensing fan. A pressure switch is connected in series as the start and stop control of the condensing fan. When the condensing pressure is higher than 1.72MPa, the condensing fan will start, and when the condensing pressure is lower than 1.38MPa, the condensing fan will stop), turn off the water pump and drain valve, and open the water inlet solenoid valve. During the ice harvesting process, the compressor always keeps running. 5 seconds after the compressor is started, the hot gas valve is closed. The compressor pre-cools the ice chamber (evaporator) for 30 seconds and then starts the water pump. When the water in the water tank contacts the water level detector for 3 consecutive seconds (When the water level detector is in contact with the water, the 'WATER' indicator light of the controller is on) or the water inlet valve is closed for 6 minutes of continuous water inflow. Under the action of the water pump and the water divider, the water evenly flows through each small compartment of the freezing chamber and is frozen. As the ice cubes form, the water level drops and the water level 'WATER' indicator goes out. At this time, the water will be refilled to the water level detection. The device is in contact with water for 3 seconds to stop to ensure that there is enough water to make ice. 3. Ice harvesting process. When enough ice is formed, the ice thickness detector touches the water flow (not ice). At this time, the controller's ice harvesting/safety limit 'HARVEST' indicator lights up. If the ice making time is less than 6 minutes, the ice maker will not enter the ice harvesting process. When the ice thickness detector is in continuous contact with water for 7 seconds and the ice making time exceeds 6 minutes, the ice maker starts to harvest ice. The water pump continues to run when the ice is harvested. The drain solenoid valve is opened to drain the water in the sink. The drain time can be set to 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 45 seconds (there is a drain time selector switch on the controller), and only the drain time is set to 45 seconds In the last 15 seconds of draining, the inlet solenoid valve is open. If the drain time is set to 15 seconds or 30 seconds, the inlet solenoid valve will not open during the entire draining period, and the inlet solenoid valve, drain solenoid valve, and water pump will be drained according to the set time. Closed and no action during the entire ice harvesting process. When the water drain starts, the hot gas valve opens. The hot refrigerant vapor flows into the evaporator to heat the ice cubes formed. With the extension of heating time, the ice cubes slide into the whole piece under the action of gravity. In the ice storage room, the water curtain board swings up, down, opens and closes the box switch under the action of the sliding ice cubes. At the same time, the controller's box switch 'CURTAIN' indicator is off-lights, and the box switch is instantly opened-closed The ice harvesting process will end, and the ice maker will enter the next ice making process. 4. Automatic shutdown when the ice is full. When the ice harvesting process is over and the refrigerator is full, the ice cubes can't slide down so that the water curtain plate remains open. At this time, the controller's cabinet switch 'CURTAIN' indicator light will go out, and it will continue for 7 seconds. The ice machine stopped working. When the ice cubes are taken away, the water curtain plate is reset and the ice maker is started according to the procedure of starting ice making more than 3 minutes since the last downtime. 5. Cleaning and disinfection In order to ensure the high efficiency of the ice machine, the ice machine is equipped with a cleaning and disinfection procedure. The manufacturer's manual stipulates that it should be cleaned and disinfected every six months. If the water quality is poor, the ice machine should be cleaned every four months. disinfect. When the cbfi ice machine finishes the ice harvesting process and the ice cubes fall into the refrigerator, set the function switch to the 'cleaning' position, the cbfi ice machine will enter the cleaning process. At this time, the cleaning 'CLEAN' indicator lights up, and the cleaning process starts for 1 minute. When the water has completely flowed through the evaporator, pour 150ml of Magneto ice maker cleaning agent into the sink, rinse the ice maker for 10 minutes and then drain the water for 6 rinsing processes, and then clean the 'CLEAN' indicator light to turn off the cbfi ice machine The entire process of shutdown takes about 25 minutes. The disinfection procedure is the same as cleaning except that 90 ml of disinfectant is added. The ice maker can be set to automatically start the ice making program after cleaning and disinfection. 1 minute after the ice maker cleaning and disinfecting program starts, turn the function switch from the 'washing' position to the 'ice making' position, so that the ice maker is cleaning and disinfecting. After the procedure, the ice making procedure will be started automatically. Turning on the cabinet switch when the function switch is set to the 'ice making' position will interrupt the cleaning and disinfection process. When the cabinet switch is closed, the cleaning and disinfection process will continue from the point of interruption. If the cleaning and disinfection program works for less than 45 seconds, turn the function switch to the 'shutdown' position, the cleaning and disinfection program will be cancelled. If the cleaning and disinfection program works for more than 45 seconds, turn the function switch to 'Shutdown'-'Ice Making'-'Shutdown' The cleaning and disinfection process will also be cancelled.
